The Merits of the GAF Golden Pledge Ltd. Warranty
The Golden Pledge® Ltd. Warranty is the most powerful guarantee GAF has to offer. For just a little more, you can upgrade your roofing warranty through a Master Elite™ roofer, like Dynamic Roofing Concepts, to benefit from this exclusive warranty’s stellar features. Here’s a glimpse of how the Golden Pledge Ltd. Warranty can protect your new shingle roof for decades to come:
50-Year Smart Choice® Protection Period
If you choose a Lifetime Timberline® or Designer Shingle, it will extend GAF’s standard Smart Choice Protection period of 10 years to 50. During this period, you’ll enjoy non-prorated coverage against manufacturing defects on your entire roofing system. In case of damage, GAF will pay the full costs of labor and replacement material to repair the damage.
Since the Golden Pledge Ltd. Warranty offers lifetime protection, GAF will continue to contribute 20% of the cost after year 50. With this guarantee, your asphalt shingle roof may live as long as an average metal roof.
Disposal and Tear-Off Cost Reimbursement
Unlike regular roofing warranties, this one will cover the cost to tear off and dispose of damaged roofing materials. Whether the nature of the defect is manufacturing- or workmanship-related, tear-off and disposal services are reimbursable within its non-prorated period of 50 years.
25-Year Protection Against Faulty Workmanship
It provides insurance installation-related errors for 25 years, which is a great improvement from the 24 months of ordinary workmanship warranties. Whether your roof’s installer stays in business or not, GAF itself will arrange to have the problem fixed. Plus, the 25-year flashing misapplication coverage will become 30 if you choose a Lifetime Designer Shingle.
Addendum
Protecting your Lifetime Roofing System with the Golden Pledge Ltd. Warranty makes you eligible for a 40-point problem prevention inspection. This fourth-party evaluation will ensure your new asphalt shingles, as well as the other components, are installed flawlessly. In turn, you can be sure your replacement GAF roof can stay leak-free as long as a tile roofing system can.
